"Réminiscence "
collaborate work with Susann Carmen Jagodzinska
« Réminiscence » (fr. memory) is a collaborative work between Susann Carmen Jagodzinska, a german-polish photographer based in France, and EUCHRONIA an artisanal fashion brand based in Tokyo, Japan.
« Réminiscence » refers to memories that are surfacing suddenly, out of a persons control.
In the search for intimacy but also a shared emotional experience, we have understood that the both of us are searching for the expression of an intimate prayer through our work.
Now together through « Réminiscence », we have experienced how the expression of a shared prayer may look like.
Although the countries of origin, the religions and cultures that we are familiar with are different, we created works that expresses the prayer and memories of each person.
« (...) few years ago I lost my beloved grandmother. My grandmothers name was Lilly, so on the anniversary of her death and her birthday, I buy Lillies, decorate the whole my room, and spend the day wearing the clothes she wore.
Some of the clothes I sent Susann this time are things I have made over time to help me understand, in my own way, that my grandmother has passed away. »

« Through the poem « Payers to the ocean » I tried to express the feelings that are evoking in me the presence of the waves, of the sea. Through « Réminiscence » I hoped to bring space for those waves to meet. Where I had the feeling that hope and emotions are being shared.

The personages are embodied through the collaboration with two French actresses : Leonie Dahan- Lamort and Prune Richard, that have as close friends wished to bring their expression of sisterhood into this work.
